What’s the difference?

Akubra are constantly manufacturing their best sellers. Refer to Hats off the Rack products.

To ensure Akubra have enough orders to fill a production run, orders are collected up to the end of each month.  Generally, made to order hats take 8 weeks to manufacture. We allow up to 10-12 weeks delivery for made to order hats depending on the time of your order placement.  
For specialty “Made to Order” styles, refer to Made to Order products.

RMW - Boots off the Rack & Boots Made to Order
What’s the difference?

RMW are constantly manufacturing their most popular boot, the Craftsman, and at most times are available in all sizes and colours for off the rack purchase.  Note: We may not always have your size or colour in stock.  Refer to Boots off the Rack products.

As you can appreciate the beautifully constructed boots are meticulously handcrafted the by the company’s most experienced craftsmen.  This usually involves the interchanging of the finest of leather types, heel shapes, toe shapes and soles.

For specialty styles, RMW “made to order” boots take up to 4 – 8 weeks to be made depending on the style.  Refer to Made to Order products.

Import duties/taxes charged by Customs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Do I Require A Permit For Crocodile Products
Yes, Australian Law require permits when sending Crocodile products overseas.  Permits are provided for orders over $1000 due to the complexity of Australian Customs requirements. For further information please refer to Crocodile Products Permits Click Here.

Do I Require A Permit For Crocodile Products Purchased While Visiting Australia
Yes, When you purchase in store you will recieve the necessary permit with the product in case you are asked whilst travelling.

Do I Require A Permit For Crocodile Products If I Am An Australian Travelling Overseas
No, It is not required to have a permit whilst travelling overseas.

We package everything appropriately to ensure that it arrives intact.  We use recyclable packaging where possible. Although some hats can be packed flat – we do not flatten hats.
